Since 2021, I have practised as an independent attorney, with a strong focus on helping clients find their way through legal matters with confidence. I explain things clearly, speak openly and look for solutions that work not only on paper, but also in practice. What fascinates me about the legal profession is its variety. It is not only about resolving complex disputes, legal complications and major decisions, but also about helping with the everyday situations that life brings.

This is supported not only by my extensive experience in top-tier legal practice, but also by the knowledge and skills I gained while providing legal support to the public sector.

How much will it cost?

I place great emphasis on transparent pricing. I most often work on an hourly-rate basis. Unless we agree otherwise, my basic hourly rate is CZK 3,200.
For more time-intensive matters, the rate may be adjusted individually. Some services, such as preparing a real estate purchase agreement, can also be provided for a fixed fee agreed in advance.
In certain situations, I do not consider it fair to charge my full hourly rate. I therefore also apply a reduced rate of 50%, for example, for time spent travelling from the office to a meeting and back, or for waiting time caused by delays in court or other official proceedings.

Will I have a clear overview of the work carried out?

Yes. Where fees are charged on an hourly basis, I always keep a record of the time worked and the specific tasks performed. This overview is attached to the invoice.
I bill in 15-minute increments, so you do not pay for a full hour when only a short task is involved.
At your request, I will also be happy to provide an estimated scope of work in advance. We can also agree that I will notify you once a certain number of hours or invoiced amount has been reached.

How does invoicing work?

I generally invoice once a month, with payment due within 15 days of issue. Fees are therefore billed on an ongoing monthly basis, rather than only after the entire matter has been completed.

Are you VAT registered?

At the moment, I am not VAT registered, so invoices are issued without VAT.

Do you require an advance payment?

As a rule, I do not require an advance payment for legal services. I build my client relationships primarily on mutual trust.

What costs are charged in addition to the fee?

In addition to the fee, so-called out-of-pocket expenses are also payable, such as court and administrative fees, notarial fees, fees of experts or interpreters, postage and other similar costs.

For travel outside Prague, I charge travel expenses at CZK 10 per kilometre.

Is an in-person meeting necessary?

No. I would be happy to meet you in person at my office in Prague over a good coffee, but we can just as easily work together by phone or online.

Where do you provide legal services?

I provide legal services throughout the Czech Republic. For travel outside Prague, I charge travel expenses and time spent travelling at a reduced rate.

Do you also offer long-term cooperation?

Yes. I welcome long-term cooperation and make it a priority that clients feel comfortable returning to me whenever they need legal support. For ongoing services, it is also possible to agree on a monthly flat fee on favourable terms.

Are you insured?

Yes. As an attorney, I am insured in the event that a client suffers loss in connection with the provision of legal services. It is also a legal obligation for me to have such insurance.

Are you bound by confidentiality?

Yes. Confidentiality is a fundamental part of the legal profession. Everything you entrust to me remains confidential, except in cases where disclosure is required by law.
You can speak to me openly and without concern; trust and discretion are a matter of course for me.
